I’m 5'8" with short legs, and finding pants that fit has always been a pain. Most pairs are either too long, too baggy, or need a trip to the tailor before they’re wearable. That’s why I’m so particular about pants—and why we made these.
These are Abbreviated’s workwear pants. Built specifically for shorter guys.
We cut them from a dense 100% cotton canvas—durable but not stiff. The kind of fabric that wears in, not out. They come in inseams from 25 to 28 inches, which means they actually fit if you’re anywhere from 5'2" to 5'9". No hemming. No stacking. Just pants that work out of the box.
A Quick Fit Note
I’m 5'8", 170 lbs, and usually wear a 31” waist in most brands. So I’m kind of in-between sizes.
- The 30x28 fits snug at the waist—ideal when I want them to sit higher, almost like a proper work pant.
- The 32x26.5 has a bit more room and sits lower on the hips. That slightly shorter inseam keeps the length dialed.
