What is your return policy?

How can I start a return or an exchange request?

Use our self-service returns portal to request a return or exchange.

Can I change or cancel my order after it's been placed?

We can't make any promises as our warehouse begins the fulfillment process immediately after an order is received, but requests can be sent to help@abbreviated.shop with your order # in the subject line and we'll do our best to catch it before it's shipped.

What can I do if I received the wrong item?

Use our returns portal to request an exchange for the correct item here. You'll have the opportunity to note if the item was mislabeled, or if you received an item you didn't order when you submit your request.

What's the status of my return/exchange?

Once your return has been delivered to our warehouse, please allow 3-5 business days for processing time. Once the return is processed you'll receive an email confirmation. If you've requested an exchange, you'll receive additional emails confirming, and sharing tracking information for the replacement order.
If it's been more than 5 business days since your return was delivered to our warehouse, you can send an email with your order number in the subject line to help@abbreviated.shop and we will get back to you within one business day.

Do you offer price adjustments?

We offer price adjustments upon request as long as the return window for the purchase is open, and the item is in-stock in the same color and size.
We do not offer price adjustments for items purchased on final sale.

My credit/debit card is showing a hold (or multiple holds) but I didn't receive an order confirmation email?

Those are just temporary holds which will come off the card within a day or so. If you have not received a confirmation email your order did not go through. We recommend double-checking the billing details or using a different card to make another attempt to place an order.

How do I figure out my sizes?

My order tracking says "delivered" but I haven't received it yet?

This is a fairly common occurrence and most packages show up within a day or two of the delivery notification. We recommend the following steps to try and locate your package: 

    • Check with neighbors: Sometimes packages are delivered to a neighboring address by mistake. It’s worth asking around to see if anyone nearby received it on your behalf.
    • Look in hidden areas: Delivery drivers occasionally leave packages in places they feel are secure, like behind bushes, in a porch corner, or with a doorman or reception desk (if applicable).
    • Wait 24-72 hours: Sometimes tracking shows a package as delivered a little prematurely, and it may still arrive later in the same day or within the next day or two.

    If you've still had no luck after trying these steps and it's been over 72 hours since it says the package was delivered, reach out to us and we can provide help with next steps.

    In addition to the U.S., Canada, and American Territories, we're able to offer shipping via Passport Carrier to the full list of countries shown here. The shipping cost (including all duties and taxes) will be shown in your cart before you complete the checkout process.
