Chore Coat for Shorter Men

While we're happy you liked the fit of the jacket, we're sorry to hear you weren't satisfied overall with your new chore coat. We acknowledge 'the customer is always right' but wanted to respectfully address several of the items in your review as our goal is to design and sell garments with a quality level which exceeds their price point.

As a smaller brand we've prioritized keeping costs low so we can pass the savings along to our customers, and made the choice to use hardware that was available from our manufacturer (hence the 'fashion wear jean' labeling). This in no way affects the quality or functionality of the button. We recently reached the scale where it made sense to develop custom hardware with our own logo which should begin to appear on products starting this fall.

We scaled the pockets to be proportional to the shorter length of the jacket and didn't encounter any issues during wear tests (as seen in the photos above) but appreciate the feedback. As for the threads, if you're speaking to loose threads, our manufacturing team does their best to trim these before packing items but still occasionally miss some - we recommend trimming loose threads with a pair of scissors, which will not affect the stitching integrity of the garment. If stitches are truly coming undone this quickly in the garment's life we will stand behind our product with a replacment - reach out to us directly at info@abbreviated.shop and we'll make sure you're taken care of.
