Timeless fit, great color

This is my 4th or 5th pair of pants from abbreviated, and I like that these have a little bit lower of a rise than the straight fit jeans. The legs have room without being baggy, and the brown color is so nice, and goes with a bunch of other stuff I have in my closet. The fabric has nice stretch to it so they're really comfortable and almost feel like they're cooling. After a few wears and washes they're holding up well. Would recommend, and keep up the good work Abbreviated.

My first instinct was to return these upon arrival but the pricing was affordable enough, that I wanted to hang onto them and wear them a few times before making a judgement. Here is my honest verdict. The Good; the brown color is great, and the length is great. The Bad; the material is thin, very stretchy, but in a way that feels cheap. The leg opening feels more like a slim fit than a straight fin. Overall, the quality/material is equivalent to something you’d find at target or H&M for $25-30, it’s more like fabric/fit you’d find at J. Crew factory, but not as nice. With a price tag of $65, I think I’d prefer just to buy a $25 pair of chinos from one of the aforementioned retailers, pay another $10 to have them hemmed, and still come out $30 ahead.

Hi Nick,

Thank you for feedback on the product - we'll make sure to take it into account for future development. I do want to make note of two things:

- At 285 GSM, the fabric is 40% heavier weight than the chino fabric used by brands like H&M and 20% heavier than the fabric used by regular (not factory) J. Crew. We know because we checked :)
- Descriptions like 'Slim' and 'Straight' can vary between brands, which is why we provide garment measurements so you can make an informed purchase.

As always, we're happy to set you up with a return or an echange if you're not satisfied with the product when you receive it.

Thanks,
Mike
